Beneficial A. Cucumeris Predator Mites

Introducing our favorite little pest-control bug heroes, Amblyseius cucumeris predatory mites!

Picture them as the superhero of the houseplant world. They’re like secret agents with a license to snack on a whole buffet of thrip and mite species that attack our precious houseplants. If you’re dealing with a full-blown pest party, consider bringing in another bug squad to handle the heavy lifting. Then, follow up with our friendly cucumeris crew to keep things in check.

These mites are tan in color, and about half a millimeter in size when fully grown. They can take 4-8 weeks to settle in, but once they've established their little community, they’re like the neighborhood watch, but for thrips and spider mites.

Control usually kicks in around week 3, but I've personally seen these eight legged friends go from “Hey, nice to meet you” to “I’ve got this place under control” within a few days under ideal conditions.

Pouch Details:
Each pouch is packed with adults, juveniles, and maybe even some eggs to provide coverage for up to 4-6 weeks. We monitor pouch activity daily to ensure you receive healthy live bugs.

Optimal Conditions:
A temperature range of 68°F to 77°F and humidity levels at 65-70% will make your friendly beneficial bugs happy, but they can tolerate ambient temperatures better than most beneficial mites! Just remember to keep the pouches dry; no mite pool parties allowed!

Target Prey:
Broad Mites, Russet Mites, Spider Mites, and Thrips.

Important Notes:
When there’s no prey around, they’ll raid the pantry, err, pollen like a bug brunch buffet. They will also feed on persimilis and swirskii, so be sure not to release these if you have the others in place!
